The Temporary Skill Shortage visa (TSS) visa (Subclass 482), is a temporary visa that permits the holder to live in Australia, while working full-time for
the sponsoring employer, in a nominated occupation which is listed on the Short Skilled List or Medium Long Term Skilled List. The occupation list can be found the

Short-term Stream
You must
- Have an approved sponsor and an approved nomination
- Have a nominated occupation on the skilled occupation list
- Have at least two years highly relevant work experience
- Have a positive skill assessment if required
- Meet a minimum requirement of English language proficiency
- No a visa cancelled or refused if in Australia
Medium-term stream
You must
- Have an approved sponsor and an approved nomination
- Have a nominated occupation on the skilled occupation list
- Have a positive skill assessment for the nominated occupation
- Have at least two years highly relevant work experience
- Meet a minimum requirement of English language proficiency
- No a visa cancelled or refused if in Australia
