The 190 visa and 491 visa are a points-tested upon the selected skilled occupation visa for skilled workers who are nominated by an Australian State or Territory government. The subclass 190 is a permanent visa; the subclass 491 is a provisional visa to live and work in regional Australia

- Select the occupation and meet EOI requirements- Have a valid nomination of a state or territory government- Have a positive skill assessment confirmation letter- Have a satisfied English language proficiency report- Meet Age and Health and Character requirements- No a visa cancelled or refused while in Australia
