This onshore visa lets the de facto partner or spouse of an Australian citizen,
Australian permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen live in Australia
permanently. After two years, a permanent residency visa (subclass 801) is
available
- The applicant isn’t subject to s48 except some compelling cases
- The applicant must hold a 491/494 visa at least 3 years before apply
- The sponsorship/character /health must be satisfied
- No debt to the Australian Government or authorities

- The relationship must be legally registered in the home country or in Australia;
- Prospective Marriage Visa (Subclass 300) is a good option for offshore applicants
