This visa lets skilled workers, who are nominated by their qualified employer, live and work on the skilled occupation in Australia permanently together with their

The Subclass 186 & 187 Visa has 3 streams:
Temporary Residence Transition Stream
You must
- Be a 457 or 482 visa holder in Australia
- Have worked on the nominated full-time position at least three years
- Have an approved nomination less than 6 months by a qualified employer
- Meet a minimum requirement of English language at the competent level
- Meet Age and Character and health requirements
Direct Entry Stream
You must
- Be nominated in the full-time position on the skill Occupation List
- Have highly relevant work experience at least three years
- Have a positive skill assessment in relation to the nominated position
- Meet a minimum requirement of English language at the competent level
- Meet Age and Character and health requirements
Labour Agreement Stream (Subclass 186)
You must
- Currently work, or will work, for the qualified employer under a labour agreement
- Have an approved nomination by a qualified employer to a labour agreement
- Be licensed, registered or a member of a professional body if it is mandatory
- Have suitable English language skills, experience, skills and other attributes for the position
- Meet Age and Character and health requirements
